Surnames: Ellis, Fisher, Van Valin, Elliot, Arnold
I am trying to sort through the Ellises of Burt and Washington Co.s I am especially interested in the following:

Morey C. Ellis, b. abt. 1832 Otsego Co., NY; lived in Sheridan Precinct, Wash. Co. in 1880, died 1898, buried Jan. 31, 1898 in Tekamah, Burt Co. Tombstone either broken or never placed, but burial recorded in transcription of cemetery (thank goodness!)

He is buried with De Loss C. Ellis, Oct. 30, 1841-Jan. 7, 1897 and Eva J. Ellis, 1880-1914, buried Jan. 31, 1914, also no tombstone. Eva is perhaps a daughter of De Loss. Wife of De Loss: Aruntha Ellis. Between March 5, 1880 and Jan. 19, 1883, they owned this land in Burt Co.: The East half of the SW quarter of section 24 in Township 22, North Range 10 East, containing 80 acres.

Morey C. Ellis and De Loss C. Ellis may be brothers. Morey C. Ellis had the following family:
wife -- Eleanor Fisher, b. abt. 1835 in Cattauragus Co., NY, d. ?
dau. Adalaide b. 1855 m. Orin Elliot, Washington Co., NE 1874
dau. Adell, b. 1858, m. William W. Van Valin, Washington Co., NE 1875, d. 1881, buried New England Cemetery.
dau. Alice b. 1860 m. Charles Arnold Admah, NE 1878
dau. Ellen b. 1867
son Jason b. 1870

Would appreciate hearing from anyone to whom any of the above is familiar.
