It might be easiest if you give me your email and I can send you some attachments. What I have I found on ancestry, so you may already have what I have. But I did look around a bit more tonight, and I do see John Doyle listed as a pall bearer to the murdered man Ferry, and about one line later that "John Coyle" was one of two men that accompanied the body back to Philadelphia... It sounds a little similar to the story that was told to you.... Anyway, I can also try to attach files here, if you prefer, I just don't know if there are size issues.
