I was wondering if any one could direct me in the direction of
the newspaper the OUTLOOK? There is an article about my grandfather in there and I would like to get a copy of it, if possible. It is titled "Peter Dull prefers Outlook to coffee"
I only can read part of mine that I have.
Some of it says" Peter Dull who came to LAurel the first time in 1906, holds a record of being the outlook's oldest continuous subscriber. He recall's he had taken the publication continuosly since 1911, including a period of 5 years when he livied in Livingston and Helena from 1929 - 1950. Dull stated during the depression years in the 1930's I took the paper even though it meant going without coffee."
* The Boyington Hotel is mentioned and something about the railroad. I can't read it.*
Also Peter was known fo his toy making for the Shriners Hospital. There was an article in the " Laurel's story of Montana Heritage. the caption reads:
"Toys at Christmas time for Children in the Shriners Hospital in Spokane made by the late Peter Dull. The toys were painted by members of the Laurel Nile Club. (circa 1967)
this was on page 261.
any information on Peter Dull would be greatly appreciated, I am his granddaughter.
Thank you
