The Fort Peck dam was built during the 1930's-------my father, his father and his mother, plus one of his brothers worked on the dam in the late 1930's------I have pics of them all on heavy equipment. My dad was 18 at the time.
He grew up in Glasgow, was born there and left for the Navy from there, where he ended up on 7 Dec at Pearl Harbor on the Arizona, but made it out.
I have lots of info on the town of Glasgow, but so does Bill Wood and the Pioneer Museum in Glasgow. They have a website.
