I show that my grandfather's family lived in Dist 9, Valley Co. during the 1910 census. His sister was born in Alberta Canada, is the border that close that they would travel to canada for the birth of one child.
Grandfather's name: Herbert m Bard born 1917
Parents: Mildred and otis Bard. Herbert's sister born on Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
Sister's name Edna Alberta Bard or Alberta Edna Bard. I am trying to locate location of birth to see why the family would have been in Canada. I currently live north of Edmonton, but my mother was born in Spokane Washington. I would like to know if there were other relatives in the Edmonton area that they may have been visiting.
