Edward came to Montana in 1899, working for the railroad at Chinook, Culbertson, & Glasgow. 1910, Edward located at Glasgow. On 24 Aug 1909, Glasgow, Edward married Miss Anna Dignan, daughter of David Dignan, born at Richfield Springs, New York, Dec 1883. Her brother, Thomas Dignan is a prominent attorney in Glasgow. Hargardine children: Mary Evelyn, Ellen Elizabeth, Anna Jane.

I have this info. I know Walter Shanley was born in Mn. It seems you know as much as I do. I think he drowned. Spoke with Granddaughter, brother Paul's child. Guess everyone knew of the Shanley boys.Where was his mother buried?
