I would like to get the obituary of Grace Moore, who was born May 22, 1907 and died on Aug. 17, 1994 in Hamilton Montana.

Hello again Eric;

I checked our local paper at the library for the obit you wanted but was unable to find it. It may not have appeared in the paper in Missoula but may still have been published in the local paper in Hamilton, called the Ravalli Republic. I emailed the library down in Hamilton to see if they might be able to locate it for you. I'll let you know what they email back. hopefully we can find her obit somewhere.

I'm sorry to report that I haven't heard anything about Grace. I did write to the Hamilton Public Library but haven't received anything back from them. I may try to see if I can get down there sometime in the coming month and help try to locate something for you if the weather cooperates. All of a sudden its really winter here with snow everyday. Sorry about not getting back to you sooner.

Hello Eric;

The Ravalli County Museum sent an email back to my inquiry about Grace Moore and have an obit by that name but that person died in 1955. Sorry about the dead end. I checked the Montana death index thru Ancestry and they list 5 Grace Moore's but none match the dates for her birth and death that you posted. The closest is a Grace Moore estimated to be born in 1908 but she died in 1988. If your Grace Moore died in MT she should be listed in the MT Death Index. Do you have any more information on her that you think might help?

My Grace Moore is shown as being born on May 22, 1907 and dying on Aug 17, 1994 and with Hamilton Montana as her residence. She had a son named Floyd Andrew Moore who was born in 1942. I believe her father was buried in Riverview cemetery in Hamilton, perhaps she is too.
