HAUGNESS SERVICES CONDUCTED AT MALTA.

MALTA, March 14 -- Funeral services for
Julius Haugnes, a farmer from the
Loring community who died at Warm
Springs, were held at Malta from the Lutheran church with Rev. A.B. Cornielson officiating.
The deceased is survived by his wife and five small children. He was 40 years of age and was born at
Westbrook,
Minnesota. He has been a resident of
Phillips county for a number of years and owned a large farm 30 miles north of Malta.

Deer Lodge County and is the location of the
Montana State Hospital for the mentally ill. It is possible that he was a patient in this hospital. If so, you can obtain copies of his old hospital records by contacting the hospital and obtaining his patient I.D. number, and then contacting the
Montana State Historical Society & Archives located in Helena,
Montana, where all old institutional records are archived.
