This is Lori Hauxwell. I also am doing similar research. As you probably know our ancestors altered their surnames upon arrival to the US. This may have been done with Haux....I was initiated in Helena, MT, 1980 during the state conference. However upon moving back to las Vegas I didnt join a local lodge. My lodge of origin was in Deer Lodge. My ggfather and gggfather Richard C Hauxwell were both masons from Deer Lodge area.
