Nelson John Dovenspeck born abt. 1839 possibly in
Indiana, parents born pos. Ind. or
Ky. Drowned in the
Snake River in late May of 1890 and is buried in
Deer Lodge according to obituary. I am trying to find out the name of the cemetary, who to contact in regard to cem. Also looking for the death record and or marriage record. I am trying to find out WHO his parents were, if he had siblings & if so who and where? He was married to Lucy A. Shumate somewhere between 1880 and 1890. She died in 1928 and is supposidly buried beside him. There were no children. They had considerable land in
Fergus Co. and other holdings but nothing to tell me of his parentage
