INJURIED BOY SPENDS 24 HOURS ON PRAIRIE BEFORE HELP COMES
Special to The Tribune.
Melstone, Sept. 2. -- Roy Gibson, son of Henry Gibson, who lives in Garfield county, near Tindall, was severely injured when he was kicked by a horse last week. The boy had ridden to his brother's ranch, some miles from his own home and, finding no one at home, was about to return to his father's ranch, when the horse kicked him on the hip. The boy was a cripple, having had the same hip injured when he was small, and this injury was so severe that he was not able to crawl to the house.
He lay out on the ground for a day and a night before he was found by the brother on his return home. His condition was so serious that he was rushed to the hospital at Miles City going by way of Jordan, a distance of 130 miles.
