I have two ancestors who lived and farmed in Granite Co. They were two brothers, Allen and Angus Smith who lived on two different farms. They can be found in the 1900 census, on the same page. Angus moved to Washington state but Allen remained and can be found on the 1910 census. By the 1920 census Allen has died. What would have become of the farm and how can I locate the piece of land he lived on? I do have a print out that gives me the meridian,twp #, range, section, acreage, type and casetype.
I will be visiting in the area this summer.
