Sure, thanks for your reply. Frank Ballentine went to the Garfield Montana Area in 1901 from then Indian Territory. His wife, Sarah Elizabeth Mullins Ballentine died in 1900 and Frank took their three children, Elvira, Elbert and Elva to Montana the following year. I think Sarah's brothers and mother went to Montana as well. I am a descendant of Frank Ballentine's older brother, Dudley Balentine. Frank Ballentine was the youngest of four siblings, Alvira, Albert, Dudley and Frank. Their parents were Wilson and Elenore Bounds Ballentine. They all originated from Eddyville, Lyon County, KY. I saw a posting online from a descendant of Frank Ballentine's indicating she had much to share concerning the family in the way of pictures and stories, but unfortunately her information was dated and I was unable to contact her regarding the subject. Anything you could offer on the subject would be appreciated.
