I am looking for information on Simon Bertagnolli and Marie Rushard who had a son named Eugene Bertagnolli. I believe Simon is a brother to my ggrandfather, Constantine Bertagnolli who came over from Tyrol, Austria in the 1880's. They emmigrated to Illinois first then went to different area's in the US. Constantine settled in South Alabama while Simon is believed to have went to Montana. There were also Joachim, Oliver, Angelia, Teresa, Alexander, Catherine, Caroline and Josephine. Joachim may have settled in Illinois and Caroline, Catherine and Josephine returned to Austria. Teresa and Angelina moved South with Constantine. Would appreciate any help!

My husbands paternal grandfather was Battista Cima who married Emelia Bertagnolli, my husbands grandmother. Emelia's brother, Eugene, married Battista's sister, Angelina Cima. Don't get confused. A brother and sister married a brother and sister....Anyway, Emelia and Eugenes' parents were Simon and Mary ( Rushard ) Bertagnolli. I will send you what I have if I get a reply to this.

My g-grandmother was Mary Bertognelli, Emelia's and Eugene's sister and eldest daughter of Simon Rushard who married Paulo Roat. My mother has the complete family tree, which I have been trying to get transcribed and if there is any more information you might need, I would be glad to see if I could help.
