Christie, No. All I have found so far is James"Jim" Albert Jones b.Feb 1872 Ms.or Bougalousa,La. Census says Ms. He married Rena Lott 31 Oct 1895.in Marion Court house.Ms. I have that record. She was b.18 Sep 1877 Marion Co.Ms. No birth record for her. She is the one that told the story before she died. I have 2 census on them 1900 &1910. What's puzzling is 1920 census has them with one child James. They had 12 to 15 children. My fathers records call his father "Jim" or James or J.A. but as far as his father that is a mistery.Could we be of the same family? Finding out your name has been changed is hard to believe, I guess that could be true, I don't know why my grandma would lie. My Daddy really got mad when my mother said he was making that up. Now, is there a Lloyd Jones in your family? He was supposed to maybe have a brother named Rudy. I'm not sure, may of been a friend and Daddy talked about an Uncle Arthur. I think he was fond of him. My people are all dead. I have some brothers and sisters scattered all over, no family with me at all. I have not spoken to another Jones or Lott since I was a girl.
