Hi I am looking for info on James John P Kelly born feb 1853 in Delaware and he married Mary M. Grounds born Sept 1853 in Ohio, they got married 1879 in Ohio. They had 3 children. 1 unknown, Thomas Francis (Frank) Kelly born 9-17-1882 in Iowa dield 11-2-1939 in Chicago Illinois, and Kathryn E. Kelly born November 1884 in Missouri. Per 1910 census kathryn was 24 yrs old and widowed and had a child Myrtle born abt 1905 and was 5 yrs old and born in Missouri. We don't know much and have been searching for years. Frank Kelly married Anna Markowitch from PA and had 2 children Bill and Kathryn, we believe they met in PA. kathryn we know lived in St. Louis Missouri for a long time because my dad and his sister remember visiting a house that had 2 statues of lions and the livingroom possibly oriental furniture. Anyone who can help me locate anyone connected to the Kellys or Grounds I would really appreciate hearing from you...thank you

What (where) census' do you have this family on? Is the 1910 St Louis? If you can list the census and who you have in which year (and where, not just year) that may help.

Says he was born 21 Feb 1858 Delaware, died 26 Feb 1912 St Louis from train accident. Father was John P. Kelley, Ireland, mother was Catherine (last name hard to read) Ireland. Burial Calvary cemetery.

At the moment, that's all I can do, but will try and help out more over the next week or so.

Hi, no I do not live in Missouri, I'm in Arizona so there's no way for me to go to Missouri this year to churchs or other places. With the info you gave me we now know my grandpa Frank Kelly's grandmother's full name Catherine Feenie, grandfather's name and have found out Myrtle's bdate 1-29-1905 and father's name. Which we believe is William F. Robbins, We are still trying to locate Myrtle's mother katherine kelly we believe she might of got married again after 1910 because we can't find any death certicates etc on her. You definitely have been a very big help thank you.....Linda

Next time I get the chance, I'll slip by the library and check to see if I can spot them in church records.
