Clement Clay Blansit was also my Great, Great, Grandfather. I have him dying in 1864, but it is not uncommon for the records of 2 researchers to be off one year. Eliza (or her birth name Elizabeth Jane) was my Great, Great, Grandmother. Your Great Grandfather (James Newt) was my Great Grand Uncle. My Great Grandfather was his brother William Allen Blansit.

I'll have to go through all my papers, but I seem to remember that the reason Eliza went to Missouri was because she had a child dying out there.

I would be happy to share what info I have on the family.
