Looking through abstracts of Stoddard County Probate Records, I see where a Henry MILLER was appointed as guardian of Fanny Ann BAKER, Betsy Jane BAKER, Amanda Catherine BAKER and Sarah BAKER in Oct. 1848.

These female Bakers were minors, since they required a court appointed guardian. Does anyone know who these Baker girls were, or anything about this Henry Miller? I suspect these Bakers were related to my family, but don't know how, or whose children they would have been.

I would like to learn who these Baker girls belonged to and what the story is behind these probate records. It looks like these Baker girls were related to the MASTERS family, as well, possibly their mother's maiden name(?). A quick look at the 1850 census looks like these families were living around Liberty.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
