I am trying to help a friend find her grandmother and twin sister. They were born 1908 and placed in an orphange in St. Louis.

She is pretty sure the orphanage was on Natural Bridge Rd. I found St. Marys right away, but from the site "Beyond the Orphanage" it states it only took girls from 5-12.

Was there another orpahnage on Natural Bridge Rd? Addtionaly at some point there was a fire at this orphange.

If I find the right orphange, would the childrens names be listed in the census? The twins I'm looking for were named Esther or Ester and Estella.

Might I have better luck on an adoption board?
