I am looking for any information about a Frances Carey (2/28/1899 - 5/7/1929) who married Charles William Vance (2/25/1887 - 3/20/1922). They lived in St. Louis. My grandfather, Charles R. Vance (8/23/1921 - 12/19/1995) is reputed to be their son, but there has always been a great deal of family mystery re: his background and childhood and even a reputed sister. I am running into dead-ends with Frances' family and any confirmation that my grandfather is in fact Charles' and Frances' son.
