"Happy home we once enjoyed,
How sweet the memory still,
But death has left a lonliness
This world can never fill;
How often we tread the path
That leads us to the grave
Where rests the one we loved so well,
But whom we could not save."
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, Thursday, April 3, 1941 at 2 p.m. with Rev. W. C. Polson in charge. Interment at the Woodlawn Cemetery, with Stanley Dixon of Fredericktown in charge.
