Arvalle L. Harris, 82, of Phoenix and originally of Flat River [Park Hills, St. Francois County, MO], passed away July 2, 2001, at his residence in Phoenix, AZ. He was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Flat River, son of the late Charles Harris and Minnie (Beale) Harris. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosemary (Miller) Harris; brothers: Dwight Harris, Hubert Harris and Charles Harris and sisters, Pearl Stroud and Thelma Rubottom.

He is survived by his wife, Goldie "Kirk" Harris, Phoenix; son, Eric C. Harris of Park Hills; daughter, Vicki (Mrs. Bryan) Brand, Chesterfield; sisters, Marie McDowell, Largo, Florida; Othella Baldwin, Park Hills; four grandchildren: Lauren Harris, Ashlee Harris, Todd Brand and Martel (Brand) Mealer.
