Juanita, can you tell me where and when your grandfather was born and died? How about your mother's and her siblings names and info? Can't go any further without them. Have you search the genealogy web sites for your family?

I am a decendent of James Hart of Bedford Co Shelbyville TN Burrel Hart his son my ggggrandfather who came to Missouri and Had a son Robert Walter Hart who son is John F Hart who has lived down and arround these parts. still trying to put names and places together. John F Hart was born in quarles Mo and lived in KCMo. If you have any other info that my help me figures out relations please contact me. I will look in the Hart Genelogy Book name that are mentioned seem familar

I don't recognize any of the names you mentioned. Also, can you provide dates for your ancestors? My Hart's I believe came out of SC>TN>IL>MO.

you mention Darco Willis...who were her parents and was she of cherokee indian descent?

Kimberly, I know nothing about Dorcas Willis. It seems she is not documented anywhere. There appears to be a Dorcas Porter Willis that some confuse with our Dorcas Willis. Don't really know if they are the same person or two different individuals. My family has always said that we had Cherokee blood from the Hart side but have never been able to confirm. Do you have info that Dorcas Willis was Cherokee? Please let me know what info you have on Dorcas Willis. Thanx
