Hi Doug!
It's Marian Warren again, E-mail address:
Mjswspokane@comcast.netMy husband Jim's line comes from
Elliot Hart (gr-gr-grandfather) through his daughter
Polly Ann (
Dorcas Anna.) Polly Ann married Francis Marion Warren in
Reynolds Co., MO.
To others interested, you need to read Doug's message, above mine.
Doug, what struck me on your posting were the dates you have of where
Elliot Hart and family lived.
In 1850,
Elliot and Mary Ellen and family are on the census for
Madison Co., MO.
Now, this is a little tricky. You say that
Elliot was in
Illinois in 1838, 1840, and 1842, and by 1844 they were in
Missouri.
OK, Francis Marion Warren's father
Caswell Warren also moved from
Illinois to
Missouri around 1842, as did his brothers Benjamin and Stephen Warren. This info gives me strong indications that the Hart/Warren families were connected in
Illinois, and may have ? come from Ill., to MO. together??
Caswell's father was
Hardy Warren (some say Jacob
Hardin) Warren. In 1810,
Hardy was in
Warren Co., KY. By 1820, and through 1850, he was in
Madison Co., Ill.
At some point after 1850,
Hardy Sr. moved with his son
Hardy, Jr. to
Anderson Co., Kansas, where
Hardy Sr. died about 1859.
Hardy Jr. went on to
Washington Co., Arkansas, and ended up in
Whitman Co., WA., where he died. Hardy Jr. is buried about 45 minutes from us in Oakesdale, WA, with some others of his family. One dau. and family are buried in
Colfax, WA. Small world isn't it! Jim and I live in Spokane, WA.
Just throwing this info out there for anyone interested?
Hope it helps someone!
Bye for now---Marian Warren
