Who is in possession of the old Coxwell Funeral Home records from around 1900-1905? Is there possibly an online database? Thanks! Looking for the record of Nettie May (Hanly) Horton who passed on 11/23/1903 and Coxwell handled the arrangements. She is listed to have been buried in Bonne Terre Cemetery, but is (was) not in that cemetery's transcription when I last checked. Incidentally, an infant by the same name Nettie May Horton, a daughter is listed in the 1900 census but then no references ever appear again and my grandmother who would have been a sister to this child was born in 1903 and never knew of her existance. I would appreciate any help or advice anyone may be able to give with this.

The Coxwell Funeral Home was in Jefferson County, Missouri, which adjoins St. Francois County to the north. The Jefferson County Historical Society has the funeral home records you're seeking online. Here is link to page where you'll find Nettie May as well as some other Hortons.
