Adam Woolledge, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Woolledge was born June 19, 1890 at
Proctor, Mo., and died at the home of his parents near Hazel Green, Wis., March 11, 1916 at the age of 25 years, 8 months and 21 days.
Funeral services were conducted at the Hazel Green M.E. Church on Monday March 13, 1916. The K of P lodge conducted the services over the remains at the Hazel Green cemetery where the body was laid to rest. Mr. Woolledge had been a member of the K. of P. lodge No. 346 at Elvins [St. Francois County, Mo.] for three years.
He leaves a father, mother and three borthers to mourn his death and a host of friends who will miss him.
"We shall meet, but we will miss him.
There will be one vacant chair.
We will linger to caress him,
As we breathe our evening prayer."
