FARMINGTON TIMES, Farmington, St. Francois County, Missouri, Thursday, November 21, 1912

CALLED HOME EARLY

Willie Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. N. Baker, passed into rest Saturday at noon, November 16, 1912. Willie had been sick for several days, but was not thought to be seriously ill, until Friday afternoon. It was then decided that an immediate operation was necessary, and Dr. Morfit of St. Louis came by the night train and performed the operation about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. After lingering a few hours in great suffering, he quietly fell asleep.

Willie gave his heart to Christ about two years ago, and has always been a true and loyal worker for his Master. He was always found in his place in the Bible School and church services, and tried to bring some one with him. His Bible School and Church will greatly miss him, but we realize that our loss is his eternal gain.

The funeral services were conducted by his pastor, from the Christian Church Monday 2 p.m. Interment in K. of P. Cemetery.

He leaves to mourn his going, a father, mother, brother, and many relatives and friends, and his family have the deepest sympathy of all in this dark hour.

Farewell, little friend, you cannot come to us, but we can come to you.

HIS PASTOR
