FARMINGTON — Jack London Duncan of Park Hills passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2008, in St. Louis at the age of 73 years. He was born on September 19, 1934, at Louisburg, MO, the son of the late Earl and Agatha (London) Duncan. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Matthew Duncan, two brothers, Jay and Jim Duncan, and a sister, Eva London.

Mr. Duncan served his country in the U.S. Marines in 1953. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri law school in 1961 and served as a Prosecuting attorney and Magistrate Judge until 1976 in Iron County. He practiced law in St. Francois County for the past 30 years.

He is survived by a son, Michael L. Duncan, three daughters, Beth A. Lambert, Amanda M. Duncan, and Catherine Claire Backer, and a sister Dianna Esther. Eight grandchildren and several other friends also survive.

The family will greet friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel between 2 and 4 p. m. on Monday, February 25, 2008. Memorials may be given in honor of Mr. Duncan to the donor's choice.
