BONNE TERRE - Gary Gene
Greer Sr., of
Bonne Terre, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2005 at St. John's
Mercy Hospital at the age of 63 years. He was born March 3, 1942 in St. Louis to the late Edward and Charlotte
Greer (nee Hinkelheim). Also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Alta
DeClue, father-in-law, Howard DeClue; brother, Edward Greer; brother-in-laws: Rockney DeClue; Donald
DeClue, and Howard Eugene
DeClue.
Gary was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church,
Bonne Terre, fourth degree
Knight of the
Knights of
Columbus Council #1088 where he served as grand
Knight in 2001-2002, an Eagle
Scout in his youth, and served on the St. Louis County Rescue Squad for many years. Gary was devoted to his family, church, including Bingo and Chicken/Dumplings dinners.
Gary is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shirley

Bonne Terre; two sons: Gary (wife, Monique)

Bonne Terre; two grandchildren: Gary
Greer, III and Jackie Greer; one sister, Beverly
