Jerry Crabdree

FARMINGTON - Jerry Cecil Crabdree, 59, of Farmington [St. Francois County, Mo.], passed away Aug. 27, 2000, at his residence in Farmington. He was born July 31, 1941, in Leadington, son of the late Cecil and Geraldine 'Knoal' Crabdree. [Note: Newspaper has wrong spelling of mother's maiden name. I should be Noel, not Knoal.]

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne 'Faye' 'Politte' Crabdree of Farmington; two sons, Rod and wife, Jonna Crabdree of Desloge and Todd Crabdree of Farmington; one daughter, Lana, Mrs. Brad Thurston of Farmington; one grandson, Tyler Propst of Desloge; two half-sisters, Deloris, Mrs. Rick Wiltshire of St. Louis and Shirley, Mrs. Glen Barton of Ohio. Jerry was reared in his grandmother's home, Mrs. Bertha Crabdree and raised with four aunts and one uncle, who survive: Pauline Callahan, Helen Govro, Evelyn Richardson, Del Chilton, and Carl Crabdree; and several nieces and nephews survive.

Visitation will be Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Caldwell Memorial Chapel in Park Hills. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Caldwell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Brown officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Memorials: The American Cancer Society of the Mineral Area Hospice Care.
