AWARDED PURPLE HEART

U.S. NAVAL HOSPITAL, AIEA HEIGHTS, OAHU, T. H. ---- Pfc. F. K. Montgomery, USMCR, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Montgomery, 213 Federal Ave., Flat River, Mo., was recently awarded the PURPLE Heart for wounds received in action against the enemy on Okinawa. He was presented with the medal by Captain O. W. Butler, (MC) USN.

At this large naval hospital is provided the most modern equipment to give the best possible care to battle casualties of the Pacific area.
