Viola Lorene Carnahan of Columbia, MO died Dec. 3, 2002, at The Bluffs. Born Oct. 15, 1914, in Farmington [St. Francois County], daughter of the late John and Daisy Robertson Schafer. Also preceded by her husband, Charles Carnahan; son, Dr. Charles E. Carnahan and sister, Ginny Hastings.

She is survived by two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2-3 p.m. at the Missouri United Methodist Church, Columbia. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at McMurray Chapel, Missouri United Methodist Church with Rev. Jones officiating. Burial, Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials: Missouri United Methodist Church, 204 S. 9th St., Columbia, MO.
