Virginia Lee CANNON of Bonne Terre died May 7, 1984 at St. John's Mercey Hospital at the age of 58. She was born February 16, 1926 at Cape Girardeau to Mary (Cambell) VanAmburgh of Ironton and the late Lynn VanAmburgh. She was preceded in death by one sister and her father.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Cannon; one son, Russell Van Amburgh of Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Mary (Mrs. Tom / Thomas) Aubuchon of Bonne Terre; two brothers, L. H. Van Amburgh of Texas and John Van Amburgh of Illinois and four grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday May 9 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. James Cook officiating.
Interment was in St. Francois Memorial Park under the direction of C. Z. Boyer Funeral Home of Bonne Terre.
