I understand that ST CLAIR Co historical book has information that John GARDNER was from SCOTLAND. Can you tell me the name os the book and if it is still abvailable. Do the descendents claim a CLAN association? The JARDINE CLAN has, I've read, claimed the GARDNER family as a sept and therefore we are entitled to clan rights including the use of the clan tartan.

I have e-mailed a GARDNER member before but can't remember if it was you. If so please forgive my senior moment.
