The James C. DeSpain that was married to 2nd spouse, Margaret Ann "Peggy" (Snider) Alley, died in 1929, and he is buried in Pleasant Site Cemetery, at Fremont, Carter Co., MO.

Silas Alley was Margaret's 1st spouse, not her 2nd.

The fellow I am trying to find out about died in the Civil War, 1861-1865.
