From Highway 19 North turn East on Highway H across from the Casey’s General Store; just after you crest the hill, a well-maintained dirt road leads off to the right it is the second ‘street’ on the right – not counting driveways to a couple of houses....follow the road down and around to the right; a gate into the cemetery is on the right. It’s about ½ mile from where you turn off onto H.

I just found them. Didn't want to pester you with a "Thank You" on each one although I really do appreciate your work and your posting the information here. I know I have more in Texas County, but they're in unmarked graves, if they were even buried in cemeteries and not on the farm, which I suspect. I know of one in Bethel Cemetery in Summerville, but she was buried by the county and there's no marker.

That's how I found the link to the Shannon Co. message board here, but I haven't poked around much further yet. I've been there before but it's been a while. I'm also familiar with Mr. Stauffer who so graciously posted so many Shannon Co. grave markers on FindAGrave. He was kind enough to turn ownership of many of my Martin memorials over to me so I can add whatever biographical information that I have for them.

I'll definitely check out the Shannon County MoGenWeb site further. Thanks for the heads-up!

I truly do not know what we would do without Bob Stauffer and all his pictures and leg work! He does an awesome job! I have had so many people contribute information to the cemetery lists and without the help it just couldn't be done!

Now, if only there were someone like Mr. Stauffer in Texas County and Howell County. I wonder if we could clone him. LOL

No kidding!
I've just been made a coordinator of the Howell County site. We are currently having trouble getting the links to work because we moved to a new server. I'm not technical so I'm relying on my partner to fix it...but we have big plans for the site, as well as for Shannon County, and you might want to check back often because we make changes almost daily. When I get a chance to go to Missouri I'm going to try to take pictures at some of the cemeteries in Howell County that we don't have.

I'm in Missouri, but not close to Howell, Texas, or Shannon Counties. I'm in Taney County and really don't get to any cemeteries like I wish I could. I've got bad arthritis in my back and can't do a lot of walking, and a week from today I'll be having heart surgery. I'm so grateful for those who do get to the cemeteries and transcribe and/or photograph them. They're a Godsend to those of us who can't get out and do it for ourselves.
Once you get the Howell site up and running the way you want it, I'd be glad to help if I can. I do have a couple of family photos, a few census pages with my Miller/Lockmiller family's data if you think you'd be interested.
