the akers that are buried in akers cemetary is not my granddad allen akers or his wife alice barnes akers. they are both buried in the new cemetary in eminence mo. i think i recall my mother mary lou akers (johnson) saying at one time that the akers that were buried at akers cemetary was joseph and nancy akers. i can't be 100 % sure of that but i know allen and alice akers are buried in eminence, and i think charles akers and mellissa akers are buried in the old cemetary in eminence.
