My GGgrandmother was Frederica Eversman(n), born Aug 1834, prob. in Arrow Rock, Saline, MO. She married Samuel William Wilkinson in Aug 1858 in Saline County. I know there were other Eversmans in Saline County, but I cannot find anything but a marriage record for her. I need to know who her parents were. Can anyone help?

I have also come across records for this family through the Missouri State University archives- has farm, personal records, etc. and there is a microfilm that can be obtained thoough LDS library for review at a local LDS center. Her parents were Lewis Eversmann and Anna McLean. He may have been known as Douden Leurs Eversmann. There were quite a few other children.

I am doing a report on Lewis Eversman(n)in dutzow, missouri. Do you know any thing about them?

I find a card in the file at Marshall Public Library for a Samuel William Wilkinson born Feb 28, 1863, died October 17, 1959, buried at Ridge Park Cemetery Lot 6, Section 23 and for a Eva Viola Wilkinson born Jun 11, 1894, died January 25, 1972, buried same lot. Eva was the daughter of Samuel William Wilkinson and Nellie Scott Wilkinson.

I also found a Family Group Sheet for Lewis Eversmann, wife Anna McLean, states he was born in Germany she was born in Kentucky. Their daughter Frederica born 4 aug 1834 Mar 11 Aug 1858 to Samuel W. Wilkinson Saline County, MO and she died May 15, 1871. Children of Lewis and Anna Eversman are listed as: Charles Edward, Henrietta E. Frederica, David Alexander, Julius, Gustavus McLean, William, Mathilde Marie, and Lewis Elijah. Many of this family are buried at Sappington Grove Cemeter in Saline County, Missouri
