I have a John Wesley Rose born 8 May 1870 who married Cora Iona Johnson born 28 September 1877. They lived in Putnam Co, Missouri. He is the son of Benjamin Rose and Elizabeth Ann Robbins. Benjamin and his first wife Sarah Ann Holman are my ancestors.

enoch mcdonald rose was born mar 31 1860 in putnam county mo he passed away mar 4 1942. he married matilda johnson sept 6 1885 and they had 10 children. matilda died mar 29 1909 they are buried in the rose cemetery.
their daughter Maude Ethel was born aug 25 1888 and passed away Jul 9 1966 she too is buried in rose cemetery. maude was married to albert j smith and they had four children, Paul, Kenneth, Jean and Helen.
enoch had a brother John who was on the police force for Kirksville adair county and was shot to death while he attempted to question suspicious characters in an automobile

Ola Josephine Rose was born in Randolph county Dec 31 1895 and passed away Apr 6 1980. She was the daughter of John Wesley and Cora Iona Johnson Rose. Ola married Jack Maize Feb 18 1921 in Macon Jack Maize died Dec 1 1954. survived by two daughters, infant son preceded her in death
