Seeking info about the family of Charles D BREWSTER, b ca 1876 in Missouri, more than likely the son of Thomas and Missouri BREWSTER (they are by each other on 1910 Miller Township, Phelps Co., Mo. census). Charles is listed with wife (Candace) on 1910 and 1920 Miller Township census with 2 children: Will T BREWSTER and Fay BREWSTER. Missouri BREWSTER is listed as his mother on 1920 census. Candace LOGAN is listed in her brothers (Trea LOGAN) Obit (1946) as the wife of C D BREWSTER, she b ca 1879 the daughter of William C LOGAN and Sarah M HENTON. The July 1946 obit lists Mrs C D BREWSTER as living in Rolla, Mo. Does anyone know this family? GREGTAVERN@aol.com

The historical newspaper database (http://newspapers.umsystem.edu/Default/Skins/Missouri/Client...) that is mentioned in another post in this forum is a good source for Brewster information. Thomas Brewster was quite active in the Greenback party and was a Civil War veteran (Company D, 48th Regiment Infantry Volunteers - Union Army). Searches of the Phelps County New Era, Rolla New Era and Rolla Express will provide some interesting information.

Missouri Ellen Brown is my 4th great grandmother. I know she died in Missouri and married Thomas Marion Brewster. I would love to meet with other members of the family that might know of her. Pictures, stories and other information greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
