Know all men by these presents that I John Henry Gefken of the County of Pettis, State of Missouri being in a lowe state in body, but of sound mind, I do hereby make and subscribe this my last will and testament.
First then after commending my soul to Almighty God I do will to my daughter Betha, wife of Louis Granaman all my real as well as personal estate, my real property being one hundred and twenty acres of land, lying in Pettis County Missouri, deeds of which will be found among my papers. Then I do will to my wife Anna Fifty dollars, to my daughter Metta the wife of Julius Montz Waigr forty fife dollars, to my daughter Geshe Adelhaidt fifty dollars, to my daughter Anna fifty dollars, to Henry Papen son of Henry Papen and Geshe Margreth, my daughter deceased, five dollars.
I do further will and bequeath and enjoin to my daughter Betha the wife of Louis Granaman to pay all my just debts, particularly the abofe in my testament. Specifyt sums to my heirs which makes in hole thie sum of two hundred dollars and defray my funeral expenses.
I do will that there be no administration. The abofe is my last will and testament. Given under my hand seal at this 19th day of Februara in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.
