I am trying to find out information on the parents of Luther Powers who was married in Risco in 1932 to Mildred O'Guin. I believe he was orphaned or his parents deceased and adopted and raised in the New Madrid or perhaps Pemiscot area by mothers family. He may have had a sister who was nicknamed "Goldie".

I have a death certificate for Luther Powers that list his state of birth as MO (31 May 1912), and his parents as John Powers and Sarah Fox. In researching Luther Powers birth (MO only so far) I have been unable to find any birth records....
