I was just looking at the death certificates, and was wondering if Hanner Louisa Collins who died in 1913 is your Louisa? She was buried in Hart Cemetery in Seneca? Son, John, was the informant. Just wondering if Thomas was/was not buried there, also.

My husband was a great-grandson of Elijah Brazeel who moved from TN to MO about the time of the Civil war. He was in the Arkansas Cavalry, hauled freight and was shot, was listed an invalid , died in Jan. 1880. His father was Benjamin Carrick Breazeale, died in TN in1850. His mother was Hozannah Miller. His wife was Nancy Andrews. His youngest child was 5 years old when he died, he was our grandfather John Jefferson Brazeel. They lived in Barry County between Cassville and Eureka Springs. More if you are interested. Thelma Brazeel in MO

Weila Park was a summer resort in the 20s, 30s and 40s (maybe even before). There was a clubhouse there that hosted dances, as well as cabins, swimming holes and I believe a tennis court.

That is why it's on the map. I doubt it's connected to your ancestors. But you never know. Racine, by the way, was called Dayton at the time Thomas and Hannah were married.

It was said they were married in Wela field church in Wisconsin but have not found anything on Wela field or even Delafield, Wisconsin, then I saw Wela Park that was south west of Racine, Wisconsin. They were married Oct.10, 1858. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice. Running into dead ends. This Williams family then moved to the Crawford, Ohio area.Thank you all.Rose

Hi Coleen, I see you went to the My Family page. What do you think? Check it out and download or add any photos. Ask anything you want to know, I'll try to answer. I believe you are related to most all the people on there. We are desended from Noah Gallemore. We also came from the Smith, Summers, and Edmondson families. I have the family traced in places to Canada, and as far as I can go in the US. I will share what I have. Marilynn

So-I am seeking what ever information might be available on John McKinzie who married Emma Lynn. My ggrandmother is one of their daughters, Cecil Lorane McKinzie Crumbliss.
I know there is a way to do that (your e_mail) without publishing it, but I don't remember how. Maybe you do? I have pictures of my grandmother when she was about four, and her whole extended family including her grandparents.

We have an an obituary from the Neosho Times (Neosho is the county seat of Newton County, Missouri), dated June 6, 1929, for a John McKenzie, 47. It doesn't mention the wife's name, but does say she was the daughter of Milton Lynn. John McKenzie, the obit reads, was survived by five daughers and two sons, though I'm afraid it doesn't mention their names.

Wes Franklin
Newton County Historical Society

I'm trying to find more information on my McKenzie line. My great grandmother-Cecil Lorene McKenzie married Ernst Crumbliss in 1921 in Newton County. I believe her parents are John & Emma McKenzie (I know for sure her mother's first name was Emma). But that is the extent. I would really like to learn about this line and confirm her parents etc. and learn of siblings. I found a census record-listing her a Lorane C. McKenzie-but again I can't verify-but dates fit.
I am trying to determine the Native American tribe associated with the Gallemore family who resided around Seneca and Monett, Mo. in early 1900's. My husband's grandmother (Ethel Gallemore, m. Louis Francis Tucker) always said she was of Indian descent but we have no records and would love to verify. Any information re. this would be appreciated.

Look up of an 1851 Plat Map, Lost Creek and possible cemetery pictures?

If anyone has access to the 1851 plat map of the Lost Creek area I need maps for township 24 in range 34 west. Also in McDonald County for township 23 in range 34 west.

Also if anyone has access to old records I am trying to locate information on the Swors Prairie Church and cemetery. Any informaton on Alexander,John, James, Mercer, Joseph, Mary, and Frances Thompson, who lived in that area.

In 1850 Joseph Thompson lived next to Alexander. In 1852 Joseph went with others to Oregon. He should be on the 1851 plat map and it would mean a lot to see the map. He was my ancestor.

Any church and cemetery records would be greatly appreciated as well.

I think that Iddings Bozworth may have been named after my Great-G-G-Grandpa Iddings Lewis. There appears to be some inter-connections between the 2 families. I would love to discuss this with you. Paul Lewis
