We found his grave in an old cemetery off of 154 south of Paris in an old Mennonite Methodist church cemetery. The church is locked up off a winding road to the right going from highway 15. We were just there two weeks ago. My question is according to his obit in the Paris Mercury June 17, 1879 Page #2 he was buried on his farm 2 1/2 miles south of Paris. Was this church built after he died? Is this part of his farm? When did it become a church cemetery and is the cemetery name Cedar Grove cemetery. Also we tried to see the cemetery located on the Charles Davis farm which is south of Paris on Highway 15 but no one was home. This also has Harbits in it. Do you know anything about this cemetery with 11 people in it and who do I contact to find out about it? Is this on Isaac Harbit original farm of 1879? Looking for any information on the HArbits in the Paris, Mexico, Santa Fe,and Perry area. Thank you for your help.
