John B Reed and Violet Ann Phelin were married 4/8/1892. They had one son, Jackson. Violet Ann died in 1894 at 20 years of age. John B Reed's parents were John Burton Reed and Almyria Mariah Jane Thompson (married 1/99/1848). John Burton Reed's parents were Samuel Reed and Francis (Fanny) Patterson (married 9/25/1825). Samuel is my ggg grandfather. My father tells me that either Samuel or Fanny were American Indian but I cannot confirm this.
