Hello,
Please realize that this is a really long shot but we may be able to bring some researchers together.

I understand thru Baxter Dunn in his relative Sharron Currie's research there is evidence that in the 1850 Census Moniteau Co., MO in the household of

Jeremiah & Elizabeth Dowell
listed is

Ann Eliza Dunn 21 (dau)

J.W.T. Dunn 2 (g/son)

Jane Baker 19 (dau)

We are trying to read between the lines on this, Can anyone help out? Do you have information, connections to this family? Any assistance would be welcomed!

It is presumed on my part from information from these other two researcher that Benjamin Franklin Dunn is the not yet born child in this. We think him to be the brother of little J.W.T.Dunn above, the second son of Ann Eliza Dunn.

It is believed currently that the above mentioned Benjamin Franklin Dunn was given his father's name. The other two researchers have found evidence that he went to CA to the Gold Mines and never returned.

Is there knowledge or documentation of this at the Moniteau Co., MO area and does anyone have information on the other child of the Dowell family (again, presumed) Jane who has the Baker last name? Does anyone know who she married? and if he went to CA with Benjamin Franklin Dunn Sr.?

My interest in this is that the Benjamin Franklin Dunn, Jr may be the Frank Dunn and his wife Susan Brashear identified in the settling of the estate of Lilburn Brashear of Howard Co., MO in 1892.[Here I need to say that researcher and cousin, Tim Mitchell believes that his grandmother Anna Elizabeth Dunn to be the daughter of the above Benjamin Franklin Dunn, Jr and has shared with me that Anna's father was simply known as B.F.Dunn and his wife was known as Susie M. Dunn.] Lilburn had no direct heirs therefore his many neices and nephews/grand neices and nephews gained from the distribution of his estate.

The Susan Brashear, wife of Frank Dunn is the sister of my gg gf Robert Harrison Brashear (both children of John Calton Brashear II and his wife Elizabeth J. Montgomery (or Eliza J.).

Can anyone help us out on this family? If there is any of this that seems familiar to you please contact me. Any information would be of assitance. Thank you for reading this! God bless!
