I'm trying to find the place of burial for Edward A. Pierce--born about 1825 in Tennessee and died about 1868 in Mississippi Co., Missouri. He was a physician. His wife's name was Emily J. Myers Pierce. He was living in James Bayou township in the 1860 census. From what I've been told, I think that is what they call Dorena now or East Prairie. His estate was opened in 1868--it is listed in a Charleston newspaper from that year.
