I am wondering if anyone may have any information about the historical Taylor School that was once in miller county north of Eldon. Found it on the miller county website but it does not have any information about it.

We (Miller Co. Historical Society)recently gathered up the school rgisters from old rural schools in Miller County and prepared them for microfilming. There were several from Taylor School. It will probably be several months before the Archives completes the filming, then the originals will be returned to the museum. I don't think there are plans to make these available on line just yet. What are you looking for?

Well I was just wanting to know who founded the school and Who went to it. I am a taylor and my family is from eldon. I just found it very interesting. I don't know if it has anything to do with my family or not but I was just curious.

can you tell me if a thonas allen went to school there in1870 or 1880 thankyou for any info i get
