Now that I have learned where my great grandmother (Mittie Stacy) and great grandfather (John Wilbur Mullinix) and his second wife (Catherine "Kate" Winkler) and a few other Mullinix family members are buried, several of my cousins and myself will be visiting Bevier, Missouri last week of October or first week of November discovering our roots. Also, several of the wills and probates are available at the Macon courthouse from the information I have read from Ernie's Macon County Website. How do I go about planning a visit to the Courthouse to actually see the records? Do I make an appointment or ????

Also, since Bevier is where the James Edgar Mullinix (my grandfather) Roots begin, who would we contact about a Mullinix Reunion in Bevier for next summer? How would we go about getting the word out other than the message center here? If you have any ideas on how the "Mullinix" family could get together please email me. Thank You!
(Since Jonathan Mullinix sailed from Newgate, England to Maryland, June 10th, 1726 would be a great day to start off the Reunion in Bevier) Please let me kow what you think. Thank you again,
Mary
