Thanks so much for your reply to my post.

Lucy's date of death is from - Find A Grave. There is a picture of her & husband Rufus headstone.
The cemetery is located in Ossipee,New Hampshire where her family lived for many years.

As you had mentioned - maybe shortly after the census was taken in June 1880 they left the area due to Lucy being sick and headed back to N.H.??

Her husband Rufus I have 2 different conflicting area's as to where he passed (due to drowning).

From Ossipee,N.H. town records it states he drown in Boston,Ma. 7-22-1898 - age 65. That date and age matches what is on his headstone.

As the town record showed he drown in Boston I posted a message on that board in the hope maybe someone could locate a newspaper clipping of the drowning - no luck.

But this is info someone sent in reply to that post.

So - Same month and yr. of drowning & burial in the correct cemetery.

I have not been able to locate any info as to if he actually passed in Boston,Ma. or Montana.

As time permits maybe I'll be able to do more searching over the weekend.
